Why go sober?

Body

There is no shortage of evidence showing an alcohol-free life is healthier. Abstainers have less cancer, and less risk of heart disease, and dementia. And did we mention improved libido?

Money

Alcohol is expensive. Cutting back on consumption means spending less.   Sobriety results in having more money to spend on important things.

Mind

Alcohol is a depressant. Reduced alcohol consumption increases mental clarity and focus, and improves mood regulation. It also reduces anxiety.

Relationships

Relationships unimpinged by the blur of alcohol are stronger, more open, and have reduced risk of conflict.

Sleep

Sobriety means better sleep resulting in better day-time alertness. Sleeping better improves overall health, performance, and quality of life.

Performance

Without hangovers, sobriety brings increases productivity and performance, enhances self-esteem, confidence, and personal growth.
